This is a nice litte Black Forest farming cottage with annex.
This clock has a slightly unusual form. Many Black Forest farm houses have a whole range of adjoining buildings, added to the building over generations of inhabitants. This clock derives its form from such a farm house.
To the side of the clock, in the little courtyard, is a wood chopper figurine. At the full hour he starts to chop.
The clock also has a little bell tower with movable bell. At the full hour, the bell is moves in tune with the chime.
Further special feature of this clock: A real bell is built inside the clock. The sound is slightly loader and clearer than that of the regular chime sping.
Richly decorated with the typical August Schwer ground decoration.
The clock is completely made of wood, completely hand-made. Wooden dial, hands, cuckoo, pendulum.
